I am currently in the midst of decorating the girls' bathroom. I knew I wanted to something girly. And the girls are really into Disney Princesses right now. So that is the theme of their bathroom. I really dislike themes though. So I am really just using the princess stuff as accessories. I wanted to be able to change it out when they out grow this stage. It started as basic builder blah, but is anything but that now! I just finished doing the basic paint in there. The walls are The Right White from Restoration Hardware. I had a full can of it in the garage and thought I should use it. I've had it for 6+ years from the days when I worked there. In our old house in TX I used it as the trim color, but had a full gallon left. I couldn't wait to get rid of the builder paint color so this is what I used it for. Once I go it on the walls though, all I had was a big white box. Then I came across this inspiration photo...
WOW!! I also had 1/2 a can of purple left over from Ashlyn's room form the TX house. So up it went on the ceiling. I ran it by Adam of course. He wasn't really all that surprised that I wanted to put purple on the ceiling. Guess he is used to my crazy ideas after 10+ years. I still have some finishing touches to put in the room, but hopefully will have a finished picture to post soon.

WELCOME!!
I have a blog!!! I can barely believe it myself! Me, blog? I thought I would create a place that would chronicle all of my DIY projects. Seems my list of them continues on and on and on. And on.
We moved to our current home in Feb 2010 and I have been changing it from builder basic to a home for our family. I wanted to keep all of my projects in one place. Including some craft projects with the kids and probably some other random stuff too. Hope you enjoy!
